An Awesome Event in the works...
Queen Of the MTN is an all women’s gravity contest composed of 3 separate competitions hosted by Shine Riders Co. The main purpose of this event is to provide a venue to bring as many female gravity riders of the professional level together to promote awareness of the ever growing women’s freeride movement and provide inspiration to those women following not far behind. The event will take place over Labor Day weekend, at Northstar-at-Tahoe Bike Park, Northern California’s premiere lift accessed mountain biking resort. Riders are encouraged to spend the entire weekend to practice Saturday (9/3/11), attend clinics and social gatherings on Sunday (9/4/11), and the contest and awards party will take place on Monday (9/5/11).
